Japanese automakers’ China car sales tumbled in August
Due to the unfortunate complication that is COVID-19, sales for Japanese automakers Honda Motor, Nissan Motor and Toyota Motor have dropped significantly. Honda said that they were able to sell only 91,694 vehicles last month, 38.3% down from a year earlier due to COVID-19 and a shortage of components. Nissan stated that they only sold 113,166 cars in China in August. Down 10.6% because of the on-going pandemic, material shortage and natural disasters in the country.
