The Cambodia Car Culture (CCC) held its second car meet at AEON Mall Sen Sok City over the weekend, drawing thousands of car fans and onlookers from all over the country. The event had a wide range of cars, including modified and tuned cars from different brands and concepts, as well as cars from official and secondhand shops.
The CCC car meet 2 was the first event of its kind to bring together official and private car shops. It showed how diverse and exciting the Cambodian auto market is. The event’s organizers said the goal was to support the culture of cars in Cambodia and give car lovers a place to share their thoughts and experiences.
The event was also good for related businesses to automotive because it showed that people in Cambodia are becoming more interested in or buying cars. According to Khmer Car Deal, the observatory of Economic Complexity1 reports that in 2021, Cambodia became the 81st biggest importer of automobiles in the world, with a total import value of $578 million. Thailand, the US, the UAE, Germany, and China were the main places where cars were brought in.
Khmer Car Deal is the number one in online platform that cover automobile market in Cambodia, we encouraged to see the market evolving in this direction. I think that events like the CCC car meet 2 can help more people learn about and appreciate Cambodia’s car culture. They may also inspire more people to join the community and help the industry.
We want to see more events like this in the near future, as they may not only delight and educate automobile fans, but also contribute to the growth and development of Cambodia’s automotive sector.
